NEW & IMPROVED!  You asked, we listened - replaceable tips are now available as STANDARD on all 1Rig Scratchers.  After a full season of testing and abusing these on trails, lakes, dirt, rocks, snowcross tracks and even the IRON DOG race - these scratchers are DIALED.   
 
Fully Reversible design can be left deployed while backing-up the snowmobile without bending or breaking the ice scratcher.
Replaceable, Indexable Tip cut from AR500 hardened steel with 4 cutting edges. When one cutting edge wears down, simply rotate the tip 90 degrees to the next cutter.  Why AR500 and not carbide?  Carbide is simply too brittle to survive in the harsh usage environment of an ice scratcher.  AR500 hardened steel is 4X harder than "normal" mild steel, plus has superior impact and abrasion resistance.  AR500 is the material most commonly used for excavator teeth and bulletproof armor plating.  How long does a tip last on an ice scratcher?  Good question! These were used on many sleds last winter with thousands of miles ridden, and we have yet to succeed in wearing one out, so we will let you know when (or if?) we do!
Strongest Connection design on the market uses a tapered cone and retaining plug to firmly secure the ice scratcher to the sled.  No more snapping off your scratcher. 
Kit Includes:  1 Pair of Ice Scratchers with replaceable tips, mounting brackets & storage brackets. Primed and powdercoated Spring with billet aluminum mounting/storage brackets. Storage hooks are stainless steel.
